Boring food question

I bought some reduced ready-to-eat vegan "meat"balls and froze them on day of purchase (they were going out of date that day.) I've got them out of the freezer to defrost. The packet says " ready to eat but may be eaten hot". My question is: if they've been frozen and then defrosted can I eat them cold or do they have to be heated up? There's no meat in them so no danger there.

Eating them cold will be fine. It's just giving you a serving option whether to heat them or not but having frozen them won't have changed anything. They'll still be fine to eat as they are.

Yep, absolutely fine to eat them cold.

Great, thanks!
