Erm quick question about intimate waxing

I went to a new place tonight and the therapist gave me a full on wax on wax off without wearing any gloves....is that normal?

I’m racking my brains trying to think if my normal woman does or not!

Think I only really noticed because she had quite long acrylic nails!

My lady wears gloves when doing the labia area etc. Bit grim not too!

I've had waxes for years and gone through several therapists only one wore gloves and to be honest they were a pain as the wax kept sticking to them, I think most don't bother for this reason.

Thanks for the responses. Can’t say I’d do it without gloves but understand why it all might be a bit tricky with them on!

I’ve had some who have worn gloves and some not. I would have thought hand washing and short nails is more important.

I've lived in a few different places and had waxes from probably 20 salons - none of them used gloves! I've never thought about it to be honest.

Mine doesn't wear gloves either!I did often wonder why but then realised it's because they would spend more time in removing the wax off the gloves than waxing my bits.
