Amazon dodgy reviews? Very fishy.

I saw a neck massager on Amazon 338 fantastic reviews. What was odd was that they almost all had pics. attached and the reviewers had odd names. The grammar was strange also. So I started clicking on the reviewers, then it got really weird. Many of them had also bought the same, rucksack, interior camera security, party bags, air cooler, etc. They also give every product they have bought a five star review without exception.

Now what are the odds on that.

I have been asked by people to do jobs like that before. It really is a thing. That and paying people to order the product so it's a verified purchase and then writing the review.

I would never do that kind of job though.

I came across a website once that "reviewed" the reviews on Amazon and gave you a reliability score for them. It explained why it thought there were a lot of fake reviews (grammar, similar words etc)

Always check Amazon reviews via the Fakespot website as there are definitely loads of dodgy ones on there. Google Fakespot, it will tell you how to use it.
