Bib for weaning

Please can somebody advise me of a bib that covers well that doesn't cause too much of a restriction. As I have just started to wean my little boy and he make a colossal mess but hates having a bib on and just spends most of the time in between eating trying to rip everything off. Any suggestions please??

I use the coverall ones with sleeves. Usually from Sainsbury’s

I used to just strip DS down to his nappy or sit him on a towel, he was not one for bibs either Grin I used to get a large muslin and clip it behind n his neck and behind his back with clothes pegs.

DS hated the plastic ones so I used the fabric ones, rolled his sleeves up and put an old muslin cloth on his lap.

I really like the baby Bjorn ones with sleeves. They are quite expensive, but they last until your toddler doesn't need a bib anymore and then they can be used as painting overalls. They cover everything and can be rinsed clean and drip dried between meals.

same as rogue - they're great! £3.50 each.

We use Bibados. Pricey but worth it in time saved cleaning the high chair and floor, not to mention DD herself!

Another vote for the bibado here! I came across it randomly and it's the only bib I've bought that actually covers baby and stops mess getting everywhere. Like the PP said, it's not the cheapest but it washes well and I wouldn't be without it now. I used to spend bloody ages wiping down the floor and highchair.
