2nd degree tear - when did it stop stinging

Hello,

I had my DD on Friday, I've got a second degree tear that required stitches.

It's still really stinging when going to the toilet, I've been drinking lots to dilute my urine etc

How long did your stitches sting for, am I expecting to much by thinking it should have stopped by now.

I didnt tear but it took longer than that for mine to stop stinging when I went to the toilet. Try pouring water over the area when you wee to help.

I had a 3rd degree and it was a month before I could sit comfortably enough to drive and face leaving the house for anything non-essential/ medical. I can't look at bags of frozen sweetcorn in the same way since!
