I assume my neighbour has a cpap machine and the bleep bleep bleep at night is driving me insane and I can't sleep. I can't push ear plugs in my ears. I haven't a clue what would be good. Please if anyone knows any thing good to block out noises please can you share with me what it is. Thankyou.

DH's doesnt beep at all. Wonder if it's some other piece of equipment

dementedpixie · 15/10/2019 19:53

Could you knock the door and ask if they have heard the noise

ToLiveInPeace · 15/10/2019 19:55

Yep, I've never heard of one that beeps unless there's an error, as people need to sleep through them. You might have to go and ask what strange devices he keeps in his bedroom, OP...

They have had poor health and she has copd. I assumed it was a cpap machine. We don't speak so I can't knock to ask.

White noise for you? Can download an app onto phone or use YouTube, you don’t need to buy a machine. Can select a sound that is soothing for you?

Buttons4me · 15/10/2019 20:11

I will try that tonight thankyou.

RainRain is the app I use to drown out my DH snoring. It’s fabulous and I highly recommend.
I used to have a white noise machine that I bought from Amazon. That was even more brilliant and would definitely drown out the neighbours noise: It is called ‘LectroFan’.

I fall asleep listening to podcasts most nights. Hope something works for you.
