Food aversions/repulsions

I've posted before about my dd's misophonia. That seems to have improved but has morphed somewhat into unpleasant thoughts about food.
For example, tonight I made fish, rice and peas and she began having the 'horrid thoughts' imagining the food was worms/bogeys etc.
This never happens with treat food, meals out or snacks in the living room just meals at home. I don't want to make a big deal of this but as she is a fussy eater anyway I rely on her eating that main meal to get some goodness in. I also object to offering snack food after throwing away a proper meal. Tonight I gave in and let her have bread and jam after not eating dinner but can't carry on doing that!
She's not inventing it, poor kid is distressed by it and I want to help but I do feel very cross at times!
Any tips or help?!

Hi Lovely
I've just come across this searching for similar things on mumsnet.
Has this issue with food aversion resolved since your post? If not, it's worth looking into PANS/PANDAS. We've just started our investigations, too.
