Can't start thread in Bereavement?

Hi,

As the title says, I can't seem start thread in Bereavement?
I simply wanted to ask, if I leave a letter / notes at a grave, in a ziplock bag, how would I secure them from blowing away?

I'm unsure about using the stakes you can buy that hold notes / cards due to disturbing the ground.

I leave cards at my DDs grave sometimes usually under a plant pot I have taken. I move them after a while though as they get soggy and dirty. Do you want them to stay for a while?

I wanted to leave it there for a week or two, as I know a relative comes regularly to collect momentos and notes she leaves herself to add to the collection.

I just wanted to ensure the manner I leave it is respectful and not untidy in any way.
I also want it so it remains in readable condition incase the relatives ever wish to read through them.
