Looking for a hand sewing alterations class in London

I'm looking for a class where I can learn about sewing darts as alterations to clothes, by hand. So many of the classes out there are about learning to use a sewing machine but I'm not interested, and in any case I don't have room for one in my small flat.

I am already perfectly capable of sewing on buttons or taking up hems. But I need to learn about sewing darts and where to sew them. I'm short and I have a large bust, so a lot of dresses have necklines too low or wide for my shape.

I know how to make darts, I mean it's hardly complicated. But I always end up sewing them in the wrong place and then it looks all wrong. So I'm looking for somewhere where I can learn about how to work out where exactly to put darts to achieve the shape I want. I'm not interested in actually making clothes or pattern cutting it anything like that. But it does need to be a hand sewing class.

I've done a lot of googling but can't find the type of thing I'm looking for.

Tbh I would be surprised if such a thing exists. Machine sewing is so much quicker, easier and stronger than hand sewing.

Have you thought about books? Fit for real people looks very old fashioned but is very good. And there is a more recent fitting book by Kenneth King that I have my eye on.

There are actually a few hand sewing classes advertised but they're all about sewing on buttons and repairing broken seams, and other basic stuff that I can already do.
