Drs or minor injuries

Posting in here as I can’t get through to the drs.

Ds16 injured his knee at football over a week ago. It swelled a bit and was slightly painful but nothing too bad. He rested it and used ice packs. He didn’t mention it again. He’s just come to me saying his knee is slightly painful and it’s swollen. It’s squishy to touch if that makes sense.

Where’s best to take him?

Can minor injuries X-ray? There's no such thing in my area so I'm not sure. I would have thought they will want to X-ray it.

Thanks everyone. Minor injuries can X-ray here so we are going in a minute. I finally got through to the drs and they’ve told me to take him straight there.
