Propananol and daughter

Hi

Dd age 14 started 10 mg propranolol 3 weeks ago

She is on it for migraines, anxiety and being sick
She is also being referred from cahms to be assessed for autism
She takes x2 10 mg a day one in the morning and 1 before bed
How long before they work?
She was off fri and today
Keeps feeling sick

Wondering if tablets making things worse !!

If the sickness is worse since starting the propranolol then it’s likely a side effect. Propranolol reduces the heart rate and blood pressure (that’s what it’s supposed to do) but if they’re reduced too much then they can cause nausea, dizziness, fainting. Probably best to speak to the person who prescribed it for their advice.
