I was told by a podiatrist to cover it with plaster or tape as it can help kill it off. My son had loads so we tried it. It helped with the small ones but he had a really large one that needed bazuka.

Yellow parafin works well as it softens it so it rubs off

Dd had a huge one for over 12 months that just wouldn’t go. A couple of weeks of the gel and it rubbed off and left a crater! It was huge

Apple cider vinegar work a treat on verrucas- hurts like a bastard but gets rid very quickly.

I’ll give the yellow paraffin a go - thanks! DD is autistic with a learning disability so she won’t let me do anything painful or complicated.
