Mr Kipling ad

This new Mr Kipling ad. I thought it was an add for the NSPCC about child abuse until it got to the end. It’s really awful. This poor unhappy looking child with everyone ignoring him or being hateful and it turns out it’s an ad for cakes! It’s bizarre.

It sounds bizarre. Is he depressed because he doesn’t have cake?!

Agree with this! Literally spoke about t with my DP today as it was on like 4 times. He seems like he doesn't get fed and looks so miserable looking for something to eat. Doesn't make eye contact with his mum and runs up to give a cake to his sister wtf

Sounds like that fairly recent McDonalds ad that they ended up pulling. I thought that was an NSPCC advert too until it got to the end.

It's a bored kid at a party. He doesn't look his mum in the eye as it's her cake he stole for his sister.
