What I want to know is how come the UK police let her go? Did she lie about her immunity?

ssd · 13/10/2019 10:13

Apparently she left on advice from the Americans and flew on an American transport plane.
Maybe she was bailed here and told the police she wouldn't return to the US. . she probably surrendered her passport. But maybe given how she flew back she didn't need a passport?
It's all very tragic for the Dunn family. Justice must be served.

Bail is irrelevant. She wasn’t arrested. She told the police she wouldn’t leave the country but flew out the next day from her base.

ssd · 13/10/2019 10:36

Why would she be allowed to leave the police station?

You’re misunderstanding me - I’m not on her side but clarifying conjecture.

She wasn’t interviewed at a police station. She spoke to police at the scene then at her home (at the base) the following day.

Does it now mean that she can be extradited to face justice? I would hope so, but I just don't know.

ssd · 13/10/2019 11:27

42LookImAHooman, I didn't think you were on her side, I don't think there would be anyone alive on her side. Its so utterly immoral and wrong, the whole thing. My heart breaks for the boy and his family.

Don't know where the 42 came from.

If she has fled justice in the U.K. and has no DI then she can be extradited. We have a mutual agreement and I can't see any defence against extradition. I expect she is being told this by her lawyer and will return voluntarily (for a slap on the wrist).

The parents can also sue her in an American course for compensation. I think they should because it will reach a wider audience in the US and hit her where it hurts, her reputation.

ssd absolutely. I am steaming angry at the woman and all who have enabled her.
