Fed up, cheer me up

It's Saturday night and I'm in bed at 9.30. Had a row with husband as he snapped at my daughter for no reason and upset her. He's been a grumpy bastard all day and I'm especially sensitive to her needs at the minute as she's getting a hard time off her dad. So husband fucked off out in a strop for an hour and has come home all apologetic but I honestly can't be arsed with him. This is my second marriage and it really shouldn't be this hard. Was really looking forward to a nice Saturday night in with some fizz and a movie but here I am in bed early. Feel like the weekend has been wasted.

Cheer me up with what you're doing this fine Saturday night. Or alternatively tell me you're having as shit a time as me.

Wales just eat Uruguay to top their pool. If that doesn't cheer you up, nothing will 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Yes, Chocolatesaltyballs - I am having a shit time (when at home) cos the fire alarms in our tower bloack are going off at least 5 x night and day. Luckily I have a reprieve when at work -or do I??? I work in psychiatry, so panic buttons on the wards go on and on, fire alarms go off when someone hasn't been frisked for ciggies up on the wards.

At hoe, the faulty alarm had happened since Thursday and seems to not want to stop. Apparently whoever has been in to sort it out but it still happens. I was not due in work until 2pm but turned up at 12 because I could not stand it anymore!!! I am getting snappy and forgetful. I wouldn't care but I don't get much sleep at the best of times.

Grrrrrrrrr!

Oh yes - forgot to say - I realise Grenfall is still fresh in people's minds and I am grateful we have (sort of) working alarms but it will be like the boy who cries wolf - one day it will be for real and no one will take any notice. Having to walk down 13 floors (I injured a leg when I passed out recently) is hard going and painful. My flat mate has had her knees operated on too.
