What do you do on Saturday night?

What do people with kids do on Saturday evening in the autumn/winter?!

We have 3 dd's between 5-8 and seem to have got into a rut of just wasting away Saturday evening and going to bed about 9pm with everyone grouchy and grumpy. Including the adults!
In the past we've always enjoyed watching Strictly on Saturday nights but recently it just causes arguments about ridiculously trivial issues.

Would love to know how other families have quality time during winter evenings? Is it possible to find something fun for both adults and kids?!

My 7&4 year old dc are worn out in the day with activities (park, trampolining or similar) family dinner that they help make around 6pm and then maybe a few games after, then bed by 8pm.

We spend a lot of the day outside so they are tired by 7ish. It's the one night of the week dh can relax and have a few drinks, I'd lose the plot if they were still up at 9pm 😀
