Pease top my soup

Family for dinner tomorrow, one of whom hates most veg, but eats soup so I've done a 14 of your 5 a day soup as a starter!
It's quite thick (I've liquidised it).
What can I sprinkle over to liven it up a bit?
Thinking crispy bacon lardons? I've also got some panko, can I mix the 2 without the bread going soggy?
All ideas gratefully received x

I actually like pease pudding, but not sure it would work as a topping. Cheesy croutons?

Blue cheese or parmesan. A parmesan crisp?

Definitely croutons. I keep making these. Chop bread into neat cubes. Sprinkle olive oil (not much, about a tablespoon) onto a baking tray. Tip the breads cubes on top and kind of mix them around until they’re covered in oil all over. Bake for about 15 minutes at 200c.

When they’re golden and lovely, let them cool and then sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.

LUSH.

14 veg soup you say? Erm, boiled tripe as a topper? Shredded sprouts? You definitely need to own this now you’ve made it. Make it as revolting as possible. What did they do to deserve this?
Maybe also provide a roll of toilet paper each as a table gift?

Croutons it will be.
Thanks
