Hi, I have washed the Chicco Next time crib cover in the washing machine on a hand wash cycle with non bio washing powder. I took it out the washing machine and it smelt like ammonia!! Have put it on a rinse cycle twice and the smell has nearly gone. Has anyone else experienced this? Also I hand washed the pushchair cover the other day and the same thing happend. After giving it a good rinse the smell disappeared. This doesn’t happen with normal washing so thinking there must be some sort of ‘coating’ on the materials they use??
