Breast implant removal no uplift

Mybrowneyedgal · 12/10/2019 19:52

I got a breast augmentation ten years ago and went from a 34DD to a 34FF. I want them taken out because I hate the size of them.

Has anyone had a removal without an uplift? I would prefer to get them removed without an uplift but I wonder what my breasts would look like afterwards.

No advice. But I envy you. I’m a 34GG and I bloody hate them.

I’m sure the surgeon wouldn’t dream about leaving you with something less than perfect. Maybe it would be a good idea to speak to them about what the difference in outcome could be?

Thanks patience. Are yours natural? It's such a pain isn't it, I'm fed up of not being able to wear anything tight and having back ache!

I think most surgeons would try to push an uplift on me, as it would cost more . I can't afford several different consultations as they all seem to charge hundreds. That's why I wondered if anyone had experience of removal without an uplift

I think a lot would depend on how they looked before and what you want them to look like now. I mean I am a bit curious as to why you had an enlargement if you didn't want larger breasts? If you want to look "perky" then you would probably need a lift - if you are happy to look natural probably not. I haven't had it done though so only going on friends' experiences.

I had the enlargement ten years ago when I was 21 and going through a bad breakup. It only took six weeks from my initial consultation to get the procedure done so I wasn't really thinking straight. I don't think I knew what I wanted I just didn't want to feel like me because I was depressed. The boob job changed the shape of my boobs which I liked, but over time I have not liked how large they are. I can't wear so many clothes and i feel like it stops me being taken seriously, plus the backache.

I'm not overly bothered about them being perky. I just want them smaller and not really saggy or empty looking. I would love to be back to my original size but I don't know if that's possible

Yes, natural and slowly making they’re way towards the floor, I’m only 23 and I have the breasts of a late fifties Sad
I’ve been to the NHS a few times and have been rejected. I do have a baby on the way now though so after I’ve finished breast feeding I’m Going to start saving to get them done privately.

I dream about wearing strapless, plunge and backless dresses! Oh the options 😍

Good luck for you! I hope you Get the advice your after and have fun with all your clothing choices afterwards! Flowers

I know what you mean about not being taken seriously. I spent all of secondary school being groped and catcalled and was way too embarrassed to speak up. I was worried I’d be told to take it as a compliment.

I hate the fact it becomes such a talking point. You would comment on the size of someone’s thighs or belly, why is it acceptable to comment on boobs and arse?

BrokenWing · 13/10/2019 11:00

When I lost weight in my late 30s and boobs reduced in size they looked fine in a good fitting bra but they did hang lower and the lift of the bra meant excess breast skin could look crinkly in my cleavage area which I didn't like so I avoided v necks and low tops.
