Ideas for spa break

I want to take a girlfriend away for a weekend spa break for her 50th. Any suggestions within an hour and a half from London?

Penny hill park near deepcut in Surrey or Chewton Glen in the new forest.
The only thing about chewton glen is that it's not ideal for couples as the sauna, steam and foot spa areas are all in male or female changing rooms. At least I assume they are also in the male!
Chewton glen is a really beautiful hotel with lovely grounds, lots of people get married there and the spa is lovely.
Whereas penny hill park is a bit older, but a beautiful hotel all the same and is my favourite of the two because of the spa.

Thank you! No, I’m a female and it’s a girlfriend as in a friend who is a girl, rather than a partner!

Champneys Forest Mere is lovely, I've been going every year with my BF for years now.

Careys Manor in the New Forest is amazing. I know many people who prefer it to Chewton Glen.
