Working mum

I work 40-50 hours a week doing 10 hour shifts managing a nursery, both my children have grew up at the nursery and my oldest has gone to school, now she attends the after school club at my work. Her younger brother is two and also attends nursery most days 7:30 to 6:30.
I have round the clock childcare to support my family but feel guilty, I am not using my time wisely for not just time but quality time. Mum guilt anyone?

I think every (working) mum feels some level of guilt. It doesn't matter how many people tell you not to waste their formative years we always think we have plenty of time to catch up. As a mum we have housework, school runs and part time/full time jobs to hold down, we do our best and that's all we really can say. As long as your family is secure in the knowledge that you'll be there for them when they need you and they're growing up in a happy, clean environment you're doing your job. When you do get the chance to spend quality time with them that's the times memories are made of.
