Preacher - Final episode

I wonder if I'll be speaking into a void...but was anyone gutted by the final episode of Preacher?

I adored series 1-2, 3 picked up halfway through, and I had high hopes for 4 re Humperdoo and Eugene.

But final episode left me a bit sad. I wanted a better ending for Cassidy. I've got the graphic novels and I think they did a fab job on the whole, but it ended with a bit of a fizzle.

I was a little saddened the ending but glad they found peace in the end.

Did you think it was a bit hurried? I was expecting a bigger showdown, considering it was the last episode and wasn't being continued.

Eugene got an ending, but Cass didn't, and I wanted more from Starr. But I wanted another several series, I didn't feel like it was finished.
