Birthday present from twins

We have been invited to our first birthday party since starting pre school, our boys are twins so I was thinking I'll get two smaller presents (one from each twin) to give their friend but then I thought would it be better to buy one bigger present from both of them?
My default is always to keep them as individual as I can (they hate when people call them the twins) so to get two smaller presents but i suppose their friend might rather one bigger present.

What would you expect when inviting twins to a party? Previously for close friends when we've been to their children's birthday parties we've just got them one bigger present from all of us knowing them well and knowing what they like.

I don't know this friend at all, or their parents to ask what they'd like.

I have twins and always give two presents, I feel they are taking up two spaces so it's two presents!

Not twins but I have had close in age siblings at a party and they've given a joint, more expensive present. I actually preferred that to two times cheap crap.

Yeah I usually give two gifts as well, now they’re a bit older it’s usually money in each card. Two kids, two gifts.

Yeah we do two gifts from our twins fairly small though. I occasionally do one bigger gift if it's a close friend's child rather than a class party and I know that there is something they really want (e.g particular Lego toys)

I have twins and it’s a gift each - they chose and wrap.

Main presents are brought by family anyway so kids gifts are an added bonus
