Anyone else waiting for a refund from Thomas Cook?

Paid my holiday by direct debit. CAA say that they have processed a large amount of refunds but most people on twitter disagree.

Anyone received a refund yet? I was supposed to be taking DS and DD away on the 27th so I am hoping it comes soon. CAA say by the 14th but I am doubtful!

I got mine on Wednesday this week. Just grateful I didn't have to go through the faff of filling out a claims form and waiting 3 months plus for the refund. Hope yours shows up soon, I'm sure it won't be long.

I’m still waiting on my refund. I have a feeling I’ll be making a claim on Monday. The CAA said they should be automatically refunded by the 14th and if not to make a claim then.

I didn't pay mine by Direct Debit and had to fill in the claim form on the 7th. They estimate 60 days but they aren't hopeful about that timescale. We will be lucky to see the refund this year.

That is what I am concerned about, I cant afford to pay out for it again in the hope that I get the money back at some point and I dont want to put it on a credit card in case there is a delay in getting it back, but I am running out of time. Its making me quite anxious and upset. I scrimped for that holiday and did loads of overtime, and now I dont know if we will get to go.

I paid 1 payment by dd and nothing back. Know I need to claim deposit.....

Should have said never logged on to first direct so many times lol. It was over 700 of a dd!

Crunchymum · 11/10/2019 17:11

DD here and no sign of a refund yet.

Holiday wasn't completely paid off, so I wonder if that makes a difference? (it's essentially a partial payment)

Could do without the hassle of making a claim.
