TMI Coughing causing big changes period

Is this a thing? Have a bad cough, and am on my period atm too and the clots are ridiculous.

Sorry for tmi but they are to the point where I can feel I am passing them on the loo, they are coming out every big cough. Very big, very dark and very jelly like.

Is it just that it's all getting a bit agitated with the coughing or is this something I should get checked?

If the clots are bigger than a 50p piece, then you need to get checked out. Not sure if it's the cough causing problems, but that is the general rule.

When you cough your putting extra pressure on all your internal organs sort of squeezing them which can cause increases in your flow as for the clots if you normally pass them then it can cause you to pass them quicker but I'm not sure if it would cause them to be bigger or cause them if you've never had them.

Difficult to say 're size as they are very round and stringy (eek) so probably 50p size all in, but not flat.

I usually only have one day of heavy flow/odd clot. This seems to have been at least 3 days if not more.

Feeling absolutely out of it this afternoon and woozy - thankfully the GP surgery has a slot open for a quick check up this afternoon.
