Four month leap is killing me. Slowly.

It’s awful!!! Before every nap all baby does is scream for hours and I know baby is tired but just won’t sleep. Not hungry or dirty just tired. Comfort won’t even help baby is still upset if being held or walked round with or anything. Just screaming. Struggling with what to do. Help😩. I’m okay in my self by the way and have plenty of support and feel mentally fine just abit saddened by not being able to comfort my own baby

Does your baby sleep in a buggy if you go on a walk? I find that helps my mood and gets baby some desperately needed enforced shuteye.

Keep repeating “This too shall pass” and I promise it will.

Check whether he or she likes a blanket or other comforter against his or her face-v common with breast fed babies. My daughter, who was 10 at the time, worked that out with our 4 month baby years ago!

Do you drive and do they like the car? When mine had had a bad night and was clearly shattered, I used to go to a drive through Costa about twenty five miles away because I knew he’d sleep in the car and it would be a good hour and half’s worth of sleeping time. Also found that white noise helped. There are free rain sound apps which you can set a timer on and leave running for a bit. Sometimes put my phone in the pram with him and took him out for a walk in the pram, as someone else suggested.
