Rash on face after every feed

After advice or to see if anybody else has experiences this issue with thier baby. My baby is 18 weeks old now all of a sudden today, he keeps coming out in a rash on his face after a bottle. I have been using cow&gate from birth and i havent changed his formula at all so its strange how its started happening all of a sudden. He is very unsettled during a feed aswell and has started being sick quite alot. I took him to the doctors a few weeks ago for reflux and gaviscon helped but today he iant himself. He doesnt have a temperature.Anyone got any ideas what could be causing it? The rash isnt raised, its just a red rash and it goes away about 2/3 hours.

Could he have developed an allergy to it?

I’d be thinking allergy too - I had sudden rash, reflux and vomiting when I developed a penicillin allergy despite being on my third course!

Allergy sounds likely. I’d try changing the gears before you change the formula, though.

When he was a few weeks old i changed his formula and he refused to drink it. I changed his teats to number 2s on a couple of his bottles but i havent changed the teat on his colic bottles and he still comes out in a rash.
