What is the most disgusting thing you have knowingly eaten?

On the back of my thread in AIBU and the amount of posters saying what I ate was disgusting (re-heated 4 day old takeaway)

It got me thinking that the worst thing I knowingly ate was cake made with flour that was crawling with flour mites.
I was married to DH #1 at the time and he fancied cake.
Young and eager to please I got all the ingredients out the cupboard and the flour was crawling
I did point this out to him but his response was cooking will kill them.
We enjoyed our flour mite cake and laughed about it for years (until I divorced him)

An oyster ... I spat it into my napkin. They are supposed to make you feel sexy but it made me retch. Yuk!

These are the things many people will not fancy
Sea cucumber
Chickens feet
Tripe
Oysters
Snails
Frogs legs
Durian fruit
Cockles

The only things I didn’t like were the tripe and the oysters.

Anything my sister ever cooked ! She could ruin anything

Lamb hearts. Non e of the family liked them and out cat turned up her nose at them too!
