I've never been but I have the chance to be there on Sunday.
What should I see and do please?

I got engaged in Oxford last year. The lamb and Flag and the Eagle and Child are famous pubs if you have chance to visit them. Apparently some famous poems were written in these pubs.

A few ideas for you:

The Botanic Gardens & Christchurch Meadows are lovely for a walk if the weather's nice.

The Covered Market.

The Ashmolean Museum.

The Radcliffe Camera, The Sheldonian Theatre & Broad Street

Christchurch Cathedral.

There's also a big new shopping centre (Westgate) if you're up for some of that.

The High Street (or just The High as it's known locally).

We loved the Museum of Natural History.

Go punting! Visit a couple of colleges (maybe Christ Church and Magdalen), check out the Covered Market. Go to the Turf pub. The Ashmolean museum is very good, as is the Natural History Museum (especially the Pitt Rivers part).
