Can i delay my period?

Is there any otc things i can buy to delay my period at all. I've just realised that my period is due right on the day that I'm going to visit a lover of mine for a weekend of debauchery and although i know he'll be fine if i am on, I'd rather not be!

Haven't really got time to visit the Dr either. Help?

Yes, Boots and Lloyd’s do private prescriptions for norethisterone (aka period delay tablets). You may even be able to do it online. You may have side effects though.

You can get it from GP or Superdrug sell it now.

How much notice do you have? You can buy the contraceptive pill etc from eg Superdrug/Lloyd’s online doctor service, with approx 2 day delivery. But it would depend where you are in your cycle as to if it will work for delaying your next period

I'm on day 13 of a 25 day cycle. There's a Lloyd's in the local sainburys so I'll head there now.
