Loan for doing second degree?

BuckingFrolics · 08/10/2019 18:53

I did my first degree back when dinosaurs roamed the land with their grants.

If I did a degree now, would I get a loan?

Asking here as don't know the best place for the question.

Did you do a BA? If so I think you can get funding for a second degree if it's a STEM subject

This is the case with the OU anyway. I'm thinking of doing a second degree too

If you look on the funding bit of the OU site there's a list of degrees for which loans are available if you already have a degree. I'm in the same boat - I have a degree and a master's but they're useless now and I'm really struggling to find work.

You could look at getting a career development loan from the bank. I don't know whether this only covers certain courses.

I think career development loans finished last year
