What's going on with my body?

I had four positive pregnancy tests (inc clear blue) between the 20th- 23rd September. I then had very, very heavy bleeding from the 27th September until the 2nd October. Tested again, it was negative. Just been to the loo and had pink, mucus'y blood when I wiped. What could that even be at this point? TIA for any replies.

Sorry OP - You've had an early miscarriage and this bleeding now is just part of that. If you start to bleed very heavily or feel unwell you should seek medical attention. X

Sorry OP this is a miscarriage. Keep an eye on it and go to the doctor the second you think you need to, you don’t want to risk infection if anything remains Flowers

Surely I can't still be having a miscarriage?

It sounds like a miscarriage. You should go to the doctors if still having bleeding or pain as could be retained products.

I bled for weeks and weeks after my miscarriage. I thought it would never end - it lasted at least a month and was stop-start towards the end. So sorry Flowers I'd speak to a GP and get checked out to be on the safe side.

As long as bleeding is not heavy and you're feeling well they won't do anything if the pregnancy tests are now negative. I rang about the same issue today. Told me that it's just my body trying to regulate itself. Normal bleeding after a miscarriage can last for 3 weeks. This is helpful
