Good to share OP. I did this once on a friend’s suggestion - no joy as the number didn’t have a whatsapp account but would have been useful if they did.

As it was it turned out it was a missed call from my own work mobile that I’d called off to find my phone the previous night but that’s my own idiocy rather than a likely scenario for anyone with a missed call from an unknown number

Only works if that person has their WA account set to share the photo with Everybody and not just My Contacts.

I'm sure I remember that years ago I used to get a pop up on whatsapp saying something like 'X has added you to their contacts, add them to yours?' Or something along those lines. Not sure if that happens now (or if I imagined it)
