Could you eat a 20 nugget ‘share box’ alone

NotSureHowIGotHere · 08/10/2019 12:17

Feeling a bit sorry for myself because I tripped and fell down the stairs and have injured my foot. Can’t walk properly so thought I’d order myself some lunch to cheer myself up and so I’m not having to stand in the kitchen - that’s my excuse anyway Wink

20 nuggets from McDonald’s is only 60p more than a box of 9. Would I be massively greedy to get 20?

As a disclaimer I haven’t had breakfast and have a dog who could share some nuggets Grin

Yep, and have done!

McDonald's chicken nuggets are like crack to me.

fourquenelles · 08/10/2019 12:44

So long as you have a bucket of sweet curry sauce to dip them in crack on.

WoollyMollyMonkey · 08/10/2019 12:44

Can’t you eat half and put the rest in the fridge for tomorrow, if it makes you feel too bad eating the lot?!

chipsandpeas · 08/10/2019 12:45

I can easily eat that amount

MsSquiz · 08/10/2019 12:49

I thought I would be able to do it easily, but I think my limit is 16! (And that's without fries!)

Sweet and sour sauce is where it's at!

HeadLikeAFuckinOrange · 08/10/2019 12:52

I don't like chicken, but if we ever go to McD's, my DD (15) gets one of these instead of a meal, and can finish it happily.
Enjoy!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 08/10/2019 12:52

Easily. These days DP & I tend to share but when we tried the new spicy ones he didn't like them and I got them to myself... heaven.

IamPickleRick · 08/10/2019 12:52

Could do yeah. When I was 8 I found a bone in my nuggets. When we complained they said I could have something else for free to make up for it. I picked the 20 nugget box. I obviously didn’t finish because I have vague memories of taking the box from the fridge and having them for breakfast in front of the tv 🤢

Ginkypig · 08/10/2019 12:55

I don't eat meat but I could definitely eat that many if I did or the quorn equivalent.

To be honest i wouldn't very often choose to but I could!

Chloe9 · 08/10/2019 12:55

I have been known to eat a whole smaller bag out the freezer and they usually have about 20 in them (varies on which brand/supermarket). Dipped in BBQ sauce, HP or ketchup. It's not really that much chicken.

Kanga83 · 08/10/2019 12:56

I could eat 20 quorn ones . My three year old boy can polish off 9 chicken nuggets there given half the chance so I say go for it.

ODFOx · 08/10/2019 13:00

Go for it. Think of the money you are saving!
not a great fan myself and couldn't eat them but swap for bk chilli cheese bites or onion rings and I'll match you bite for bite!
I heard that nuggets are good for your joints especially feet. And ankles.......

WanderingMind · 08/10/2019 13:01

I don't like chicken but could easily eat 20 veggie nuggets.

StormcloakNord · 08/10/2019 13:03

Nope, but only cause I don't like the nuggets enough to eat 20 of them.

I can easily polish off two of the sharing cheese melts things though... oops. Blush

Simonsaysitschristmas · 08/10/2019 13:05

I probably couldn’t but only because it would become quite repetitive (maybe I could with a selection of dips Grin)

Definitely could eat that amount of food/calories in one sitting - especially if I had a foot to heal Wink Enjoy!

userxx · 08/10/2019 13:06

It makes financial sense. Do it.

agododopushpineapple · 08/10/2019 13:14

100% yes (we always order 20 in this house).

Morgan12 · 08/10/2019 13:14

Easy.

Bezalelle · 08/10/2019 13:30

I could probably put away a fair few of the Quorn ones. 15 tops though.

edgeofheaven · 08/10/2019 13:33

I couldn’t, but I’m a snacker. I hate the feeling of being so full my stomach hurts. Problem is McNuggets aren’t good reheated, otherwise I’d say get 20 and eat half now other half later.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 08/10/2019 13:36

Line them all up to make sure you have an even distribution of the shapes: the bell, boot, ball and bone.

Think of it as vital R&D Grin

Camomila · 08/10/2019 13:36

I couldn't, I like them but meat fills me up really quickly.

I could eat lots of pasta or chips or fruit or veg in one go though.

BlueCornsihPixie · 08/10/2019 13:37

Yes, easily and have done on many occasion! (Normally involving alcohol). I once ate 60 as a uni student! I was aiming for 100 but that really was too many

Go for it!

OhMsBeliever · 08/10/2019 13:38

Mmmmmmm nuggy nugs. Grin

I've never tried eating 20 but I'm sure I could manage it.
