Our new house has an open log fire. It is a corner fireplace and quite small, with no raised hearth. Looking for recommendations for fire guards to protect DS4 and 2. Also interested in opinions re all encompassing cages or those gate ones that look more like stairgates. Any advice on particularly good ones (or ones to avoid?!)?
