Springy bed

I’m looking for a replacement single mattress for DDs bed which we got from John Lewis about 7 years ago. Not sure how long they last but she can now feel the springs digging in.

Am I better to get a cheaper mattress with a topper? Or spend a bit of money on a decent one? Any suggestions welcome thanks.

You could put a memory foam topper on the one you have now to extend its life a bit if you wanted to. Seven years doesn’t sound like a great lifespan for a John Lewis mattress Confused I’ve just bought Simba for my kids which they love - haven’t had them long enough to know how well they’ll last, but they’re very, very comfy and the reviews are good.

I’ve got this topper and it’s really comfortable.

If your DD’s mattress is still in good condition apart from her feeling the springs (padding has shifted?) one of these would be good.
