I’m considering a career change. As part of a longer term plan I’m thinking of applying for a Health Care Assistant role. Thinking I’ve not got much chance as no experience of care except for my children!
But meantime I was wondering what the shift pattern is normally in a hospital setting? On one advert it says 11.55/7.5 rotating but what does that mean in practice? Also is it possible to get a fixed night shift or am i thinking pie in the sky?!
