SPOTTING FIRST TRIMESTER

Hi!

New here and just was hoping for a little comfort. I am 6weeks+3 and without fail every Saturday or Sunday (one day per week) I have an incredibly light bleed and then it stops, no pain at all. I have had an early scan and all normal, the nurse said spotting is common, and each week symptoms seem to progress - for example, this week I have started to physically be sick aswell as the nausea I had been feeling.

It does seem to coninside with internal exams and intercourse, but they occured on Thursdays so not sure why it would be delayed, surely spotting would be straight away?

Will hold off having sex now perhaps.

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this?

Thankyou ladies Star

I had spotting in first trimester with both kids. Scared me silly. Bright red blood with the first one and some clots (5p size).
Both pregnancies resulted in healthy happy babies and the spotting stopped by 10 weeks.

I had this about every 10 days from around 7 weeks to 21 weeks - am now 37 weeks and haven’t bled at all since 21 weeks. Doctor could never really give me a reason for the bleeding, but said not to worry unless the blood was bright red or had clots or was accompanied by cramps/pain

Hi op, I'm also 6+3 or 6+4 and also have been having spotting! I also had an early scan and was also told spotting can be common. I think as long as it doesn't get any heavier or if it persists for longer than two weeks Ive been told I'm to go back in. Your not alone, it's a worry.

I had the same after sex in the first trimester with ds3. He's 17 months now and currently rolling my candle ornaments across the floor...
