Baby pram suit suggestions

DD is due late November so need to buy her a warm pram suit.

I love this one but it's out of stock and struggling to find anything I like as much that's a nice soft material. DS had very sensitive skin so I'm always very conscious of soft materials

Any lovely winter suggestions welcome!

I wouldn't bother with one for a newborn tbh. When my DD was born I struggled to get her in a pram suit as she was still all scrunched up. A cosytoe/sleeping bag type thing would be better IMO.

I agree with Grimbles that pram suits aren't much use for a newborn.

They're a pain to get them into.
It's much easier in the pram to put a jacket on them and a blanket or two and they shouldn't be worn in a car seat as there shouldn't be anything padded baby baby and the straps.

That being said these are nice if you still want one

Padded between baby and the straps, I meant

I used a tuppence and crumble star wrap for both of mine. They’re brilliant. Sorry can’t do link at the mo but a quick google should bring them up.

Thank you. I used pram suits for DS when he was little but gave everything to charity so don't have them anymore but he was comfortable in pram suits so I was presuming DD would be too!

I should have said that I'm having a CS again so need warmth as won't be able to drive in the early days so most of the time it'll be DD and I out for walks unless DH home to drive us.

Thank you for the links, the second one is pretty

@RainbowsAndGlitterAndUnicorns M&P do some nice ones, we got a big thick blanket wrap for in the carrycot, but we will be in and out the car a lot so easier for the carseat not having to take the coat on & off 🙂
