Constipation.

My 7 week old is constipated she seems like she’s in a bit of pain. I’ve tried bicycle kicks, a warm bath and massaging her tummy but it doesn’t seem to be helping. It’s sunday so I can’t contact my GP so I was just wondering if anyone had any advice.

Is your baby formula fed?maybe try colic and constipation formula for a while offer her cooled boiled water in between feeds.failing that speak to your midwife/HV/GP x

Many parents actually think their child is constapated when they are not she may have wind . Babies can go 7 days without having a poo that is completley normal. As long as your baby isn't having hard poos i wouldn't worry too much but do go to the doctors when you can to put your mind at ease. Try a warm bath or change to a comfort formula or you could call your health visitor?
