Pokemon cards

Ds is really keen to go into town and buy some Pokemon cards as apparently lots of children in his school have them and are trading etc

Any advice as to which ones to go for?

A quick look in Argos and smyths shows me that there are quite a few different ranges from £4-£16

I've asked him and he's not got much of an idea so thought I'd ask on here before I buy an old range etc

We got the £3.99 packs from WH Smith’s (and I balked at that tbh) I’ll see if I can find a link

www.pokemon.com/uk/pokemon-tcg/trading-card-expansions/ this shows which are the most up to date. Tins are quite good as you get several packs of cards in them plus somewhere to store them

Hidden Fates came after that set but both came out in august 2019. Either would be fine
