Raise a glass with me tonight?

DCs are in bed and I'm up on my own with a whilst DP is out tonight.
I'm not really a drinker. My last drink was a glass of prossecco at a family members birthday about 6 weeks ago.

I'm currently trying to drown my sorrows after finding something out today, nothing serious or life changing but just something that gets me.
I know I'm BU but I just want to be allowed to be a kid about it on my own right now before I hoist my big girl pants up in the morning and get on with it.

So here goes

How's everyone else's night going?

Well done on getting out so early!! I drove to the coast to walk and it's pissing it down and my dog doesn't like walking in the rain so going to find a McDonald's for breakfast.

Morning all.

Gave up trying anymore prossecco last night as it just wasn't doing it.
Wasn't even tipsy when I went up to bed and couldn't sleep then DP rolled in at 2 am and started banging about in the kitchen reheating his favourite soup (that I make).

Surprisingly I was out of it when DC1 came into our bedroom this morning and DP went downstairs with him. I was woken up by DC2 clambering into my bed, I thought he was the first to be up and was wondering where on earth is DP

I came downstairs to DP and DC1 under the blanket watching a movie.
He went back up to bed to catch up on sleep and I've fed DCs and had some poached egg and beans on toast

Hope heads aren't too sore this morning!
