Ugh - dead rat 🐀

Ugh - there is a dead big flat grey rat in my back garden. In the middle of my (small) lawn . 🐀

I live in central-ish London. How is this even possible?

Ugh - guess I now need to put on some disposable gloves and bag it up for disposal. Or maybe I'll do it tomorrow

Sixty centimetres? Madness. I'm all for minimizing the risk of a sudden resurfacing/resurrection but this seems a bit much. Besides your rat is flat, doesn't seem like an interesting prospect for scavengers.
