HELP PLEASE! Washing machine!!!!

When I'm doing a cycle everything is fine until it flushed out the old water to replace with new.

Possibly its to do with the amount coming out? But it's then coming over the top of the vertical drainage pip and my sink sounds like it's burping!

I'm wondering if there's a blockage past the sink/washing machine junction?

And if so is it a plumber job or is there something I can use myself?

Have you looked at the dust filter at the front? There should be a little wheel thing you can unscrew. If its full of fluff, your machine will leak.

Emptied that this morning!

Was full of water but fine.

It's literally for the 1 minute about halfway through the cycle!

It just spills back up the vertical pipe

The waste pipe from the machine, how and what does it connect to?

can you pull the vertical pipe up an inch? it sounds as the water can't flow away as quickly as the machine is pumping out. try a bit of fairy in the drainage pipe then very hot water to clean it out. my plumbing does this sometimes and pulling the pipe up, cleaning out the plumbing tends to work.

Tried altering the pipe. I'll lift it up a bit more.

Currently have a drain cleaning fluid down sink that I have to leave for 45 minutes.

Luckily I can still use machine but need a towel around pipe for that 30-60 seconds 🤯🤷‍♀️

I can't access the vertical pipe to put anything down it. I could try and squeeze some fairy but can't get water to it!

All great suggestions. And would be nice to use the machine without the risk of flood!

ok, try a half load hot wash and just before it empties the hot water (watching it will be a chore) stop the machine and squirt fairy in it. or bleach and leave it overnight maybe? then a hot wash? You may be able to think of something more suitable to put down. good luck

in the pipe, not the machine sorry
