This one was a while ago but it popped into my head this morning and made me smile.

In a nutshell......

A talking, giggling hedgehog.

It was amazing!

Anyone else have lovely dreams?

Surreal rather than lovely - on Friday night I dreamt I was walking along a corridor in some flats and met a cat that was up for adoption. It had a label tied round its neck listing its likes and dislikes, and on each of its little toe-beans was tattooed a colourful advert for various local firms. Confused.

best dream i ever had I dreamt i was out clubbing in a goth nightclub with Richard O'Brien. I was gutted, totally gutted, when i woke up and realised it wasn't real. Still sad about it tbh

I was at a party and my father turned up. We danced and talked and had the best night ever.
It was 6 years after he died. I sobbed when I woke up and realised it was a dream.

I was in Vincent D'Onofrio's apartment and he was making lasagne and we were drinking red wine and fabulous sex was obviously following.
Dh woke me up with his snoring, I haven't forgiven him.

I was walking in a field with two guys, brothers and I felt utterly and completely loved. It was the loveliest thing. I felt safe and warm and happy and loved

It must have been from the age of about 4-6 I used to have a recurring dream that me and my older sister would meet in a school corridor, and we’d find a big buffet of kids party food, cakes, biscuits, jellybeans etc and we would sit and eat it while chatting and laughing together. We weren’t allowed many sweets as kids so that’s probably why I kept dreaming about it but I was always so happy when I’d have the dream.

Once - and only once - I dreamt I could fly. It was amazing. I ran, leaned forward and took off. I've spent many dozing hours trying to dream fly again.

The best dream I ever had was when my brother turned up and told me that he wasn't really dead, it was all a terrible mistake. He was 18 months older than me, I didn't know what life was like without him. 43 years ago but it still makes me smile, and I really wish it was true.

I have oddly happy dreams about the end of the world sometimes. One I recall is that I am walking with my husband in a lovely fishing port, and we know the world is going to end, and messages about it are just appearing in the air, but everyone is calm and relaxed. The kids aren't with us but we know they're with my parents and happy. I think a message flashed flashed up that electricity was about to stop working, and that was OK too, and then I woke up.

I've had one singular dream of being able to fly, when I was a child, it was amazing. I can still remember the feeling. Maybe only children are able to have this kind of dream?

Nowadays I seem to have regular dreams where Tom Hardy humiliates me Confused

TwattingDog · 05/10/2019 20:56

I've had some pretty graphic and amazing sex dreams.... Always difficult when you then see that person in real life.... 🤭

It was years and years ago, but I dreamt I was a mermaid Blush it was like a flying dream, except being able to swim/float effortlessly around the ocean. Lots of colours and fish and freedom- it was lovely Smile

Dad died 5years ago and last year I had a particularly bad wave of missing him and wished I could see him in my dream. I did in fact dream of him that night. He came to me in my dream and stood there without speaking with a look on his face that said I shouldn’t have wished it but that he was here now! I was elated, ecstatic and gave him a hug. I woke up the following day and felt satisfied that I had seen him. Best dream ever.

A few months after my Grandad died, I dreamed I went to visit him...it was strange, even in the dream I knew he'd died, but he was in a really fancy house and was showing me around. I was asking how he was able to be there and he said he didn't know but he was happy there and he'd always be watching over me and the family even if I was never able to visit him again, he wanted me to know he was there. At the end I tucked him into bed and as I left the house faded behind me. It was so vivid. When I woke up the next morning it felt like a weight had been lifted and there was a bit more light in the world. I've never had a dream like it since, but I remember every detail as if I dreamed it just last night.
