Can’t see one today & I love these threads get lots of good ideas.

It’s a rugby day for us on the sofa with coffee & crumpets watching the games. Then food shop & visit my Dad. No idea what we will do this evening either watch a film or continue binge watching Waterloo Road. Or try and convince DH to go see the Downton film.

Its not going to plan so far. Had a yoga class booked for 9.30am. Dozed back to sleep after being awake at 7 and it was 9.15 when I re
-awoke. Dh is out with the kids at football and I finally got up to take a shower but the water was cold so I am back in bed naked waiting for it to heat. No major plans for the afternoon. Might have a browse around the shops with dd if she is into it.

DogHasEatenTheSqueaker · 05/10/2019 12:29

Have showered and healthy dull as ditchwater breakfasted (Hmm), am now sat in Costa having blitzed into town for boring banking/essentials jobs. Off to the gym after this. Home for dog walk and washing/cleaning. Might slap on a hair dye if I can summon the enthusiasm.

DSD and DH both laid up with various ailments, so a very dull weekend ahead. Yoga and gym tomorrow, so possibly a cancelling out binge on Tesco's finest carbs tonight!

@AnotherExWife
Yours sounds perfect I wish I could make things like that.

loulou20106 · 05/10/2019 12:33

I have my grandparents coming round later to see the kids for a bit, then I'm taking someone else's idea of conker collecting because I think they will really enjoy doing that. If I can be arsed I might re gloss the doors in the house as they need it

ScouseQueen · 05/10/2019 12:33

Have had rugby time on the sofa, now doing some tidying before DS's friend comes round. Need to do some more house tasks but enjoying not having to be anywhere important. Burgers for tea tonight Smile

ohmysoul · 05/10/2019 12:34

We've taken DD to dance and she's just woken up from a nap. About to have lunch then will head round to friend's house in a bit for a catch up. Probably watch a film with DH later when DD has gone to bed.

JorisBonson · 05/10/2019 12:36

Made salmon and eggs on bagels while I watched DP sort the garden (tiring work).

Just out of a long bath, going to see Joker then out for dinner.

I love weekends.

happypotamus · 05/10/2019 12:37

DamonSalvatoresDinner your weekend is my new goal in life, give me a couple of years until DC1 is old enough for her own phone and that will be how I spend my weekend (in my dreams)

I got up with DC2 for a bit, got DC1 up, cajoled/ persuaded/ ended up shouting at them to get ready for DC1's swimming lesson, went to swimming pool, entertained DC2 with a magazine while DC1 swam, back home now for lunch, put another load of washing on, feed DC, get DC1 to practice her spellings, tidy up, hopefully have a nap depending on when DH gets home, cook dinner, wash DC's hair and get them ready for bed, get changed, go to work for a night shift.

JMAngel1 · 05/10/2019 12:40

Feel like the day should be over by now! I was up at 6 and had to do a major overhaul pamper session - hair, nails, tan and facial, then house clean then took DDs to Netball and Drama, ran to ASDA and had a quick coffee with a friend. Now lunch for DDs and then got to get ready to go to a lovely afternoon tea in town with friends at The Ivy. Got to get DDs ready for swimming before I go. Hopefully home around 6ish for sofa/strictly/cuddles and earliesh night. Jealous at Joker - would love to go see it.

Stickytoffeepuddingyum · 05/10/2019 12:47

D's had swimming first thing, then quick trip to shops for dinner things. Done d's done his homework and I've dine housework so we're in our pjs having a chilled afternoon of telly

wejammin · 05/10/2019 12:50

DC3 had me up at 5am, shortly followed by DCs 1 (7) and 2 (5). Did homework with DC1 then left him at home with DH whilst I took DD to gymnastics with DC3 in tow. Home, did some cleaning and tidying, had lunch, now DC 1 and 2 have friends over, DD is entertaining her friend and they are colouring together, DC1 is ignoring his (ASD so gets a bit overwhelmed) and playing Just Dance on the Wii whilst his friend plays Lego with DH and I entertain the baby. Family movie night tonight, Spaghetti Bolognese then collapse on the sofa after kids bedtime and hopefully catch up with Killing Eve provided the baby is settled.

Asta19 · 05/10/2019 13:24

My DS moved to the other side of the world at the beginning of this year, and he’s home today for 10 days Smile So I will potter around tidying up and make a bed up for him then go and meet him at the airport. I’m so excited to see him. He’ll be knackered after the flight though so it’ll be head home and order a takeaway.

riotlady · 05/10/2019 13:30

DD and I stayed at my parents last night as my partner is working. Had a lie in and a bacon sandwich then did a food shop (which DD loved as my dad charged round with her in the trolley pretending it was a race car xD)

Currently having a glass of wine and reading my book while DD naps, then we’re off to a food festival with my parents and cousins.

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 05/10/2019 14:22

Took DS to a football match
Home for lunch and clean a bit. Took DD to work and i need to go for a 10 mile run. But i cant be bloody bothered.

Fuck it. I’ll have a cup of tea and a cake.

Ohmyohmyohme · 05/10/2019 15:03

So far DH and I have took DC (3) to his Rugby class, we then went to buy Autumn Jackets for us all followed by a Pub Lunch. DH and DC are having a Nap together in our bed whilst I have a bubble bath and start getting ready for a Meal out and Theatre with DM this Evening. Lovely day! Smile

Threedaysaweek2019 · 05/10/2019 15:17

Got up early and cleaned outside of the house and washed the car, yes so rock and roll....

We’re currently watching Top Gear in Northern France (we’re not in France unfortunately, TG is).

Later, we’re heading to a friends birthday bash, so plenty of beer will be consumed....🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻.

Tomorrow will be hangover day and not doing much......

sparklyglitterball · 05/10/2019 19:40

I was woken by the baby at 5:30, so sat around on my phone with many cups of tea while she happily played with her toys. Then when the other two dc and dh woke, did breakfast, playing with their toys and some tv. Dd2 went to gymnastics with dh, and I took the other two to the hairdresser for dd1 to have her haircut. After lunch dh took all three out to the park for a couple of hours so I could have a nap. Now settling them all to bed and we're having a Chinese Smile and will watch either killing eve or stranger things with a glass of wine.

belleandbete · 06/10/2019 14:40

Love these threads. Yesterday we pottered around in the morning and wandered down to the local shops. Then DH took DS 1 and 2 out for lunch while I stayed home while DS3 napped. Read a bit of my book in the garden with a cup of tea. Then in the afternoon we drove to a local attraction half an hour away where they had a maze and some Halloween stuff. Ham and cheese crepes for dinner in front of a film

Today we have various kids sports, DS2 has a birthday party. Man coming round to fix the shower. I'll probably take the baby into town. Love hearing what everyone else is doing.

Wotrewelookinat · 06/10/2019 17:18

I have spent today mostly coughing and festering on the sofa, but did make it out to a vegan fair with my 15yr old vegan DD, so she’s happy as got cakes and a yummy lunch!

Rachelover60 · 06/10/2019 17:24

Not much, have eaten a lot. Watched Strictly this morning.
