My DH thinks he's this super laid back, cool bloke, when in fact he is so dramatic it's laughable!

I was just heading up to bed when he announced he was off for a poo. I asked him if he'd mind if I quickly used the bathroom first to brush my teeth and he got all huffy and said he feels like a second class citizen in his own home! Grin for context he takes a good 20+ minutes and the smell is indescribable Envy

Also he got home from work today, sat on his arse while I fed the DC, got them cleaned up and ready for bed, sorted the animals, stuck some laundry on, washed up from DC's tea, started our tea, yadda yadda you get the drift! And he huffed and puffed cause I asked him to cut the baguettes I had cooked and said "I wonder if I'll get chance to relax at all this evening??" Grin

Please share your dramatic OH moments for venting/amusement purposes!

That's not amusing, he sounds like a twat

Yeah, I’m with Gene on this one. I don’t find lazy partners amusing.

I despair that you think this level of fuckwittery and laziness is "amusing."

He’s taken three days off work with a cold.

The flat is pristine because he’s been at home for three days and the cat has never been happier/better fed though (no DC yet) so it’s almost worth the ‘i have a fever’ schtick 😂

That's not dramatic, OP. It's fuckwittery.

Mmm.

Next time he comes in from work and chills sit with him op Wink

And when he does finally ask what's for tea or have the kids been sorted just say we can do it together in a minute once we've both sat and relaxed for the first time today. Grin

He sounds useless.

Sorry OP. I know you intended this to be lighthearted but if DH was sat on his arse while I ran about doing everything he wouldn't be my DH for much longer!

It’s not amusing OP or dramatic, not agreeing to you using the loo or helping with dinner is just being a lazy entitled twat.

As above. Sorry, OP, I wouldn’t be tempted to laugh.

Side note - who are these people who take more than a minute to poo? 20 minutes? Can that really be healthy? Genuine question, I just don’t get it.

He does have his redeeming features I promise haha! Reading that back I can imagine he looks like a nob but honestly I just laugh in his face when he does these things Grin

@LookImAHooman I'm pretty sure the poo is done and dusted within a minute and then vital research on the iPad ensues. If there were no iPads/phones, I'm pretty sure most blokes would be in and out!

There's always another post from the OP once no-one else finds their partner's laziness amusing. Bless. 🙄
