House doesn’t ‘feel right’ after building project

Building works finished a year ago and I just don’t like my house anymore. Building project went ok, love the look just had loads of silly snagging and lots of little issues which seem to have somehow tainted the whole project. I just feel ridiculously unsettled and negative, just a bad vibe really. I know I sound totally batshit!

No, you don’t sound batshit at all imo.

We bought a new house that had been a show home. There were so many things wrong- half the kitchen had to come out, both bathroom floors replaced, garden waterlogged, heating system routed wrongly, that it took the shine off it. When the snagging is sorted and you get used to it, it’ll feel better.

If all the issues are sorted now, why not have a house warming party to celebrate the improvements and draw a line under the hassle?
