What would you do?
Genuinely interested in your responses - how would you react? How would you feel? Would you say anything?

Secondary school. Often sat boy girl boy girl. He took scissors from his pencil case and was snapping them about in the air and towards DD. She moved as far away as possible on her chair and the table. He cut what I would describe as 3-4 sticks of dry spaghetti bunch of hair from her ponytail.

When I was at school we all used to take it in turns to snip each others hair or set each others hair ribbons on fire. Can't see the need for police really Confused

@bloated1977 very helpful 🙄🙄🙄

@angryscissors
Given the boy’s ongoing refusal to admit culpability & way school’s handled things, will you be reporting to police? As you say, they’ve said it constitutes an assault; & it doesn’t sound from your update as if school are really treating it as one even now, more just trying to placate you? (But I’m v tired so may be misunderstanding...)

Hope your DD’s doing ok.

Just saw this.

I would be following it up with the police.

Neither the school nor the boy seem to be taking it seriously.

Please tell me that he has been moved away from your dd in class and is no longer sitting next to her.

I would get the police to deal with it and tell the chair if governors and council safeguarding board. This is disgusting.
