He's only 16yo Grin

Ds2 is doing an apprenticeship, has cash to spend but almost full time at college. He and some friends have got into the habit of lunch at the cafe (caff). I don't think too hard about the quality of their diet!

He says today they were give free colas because they are "the politest customers we ever have"

As a parent of teens you have to take the wins where you can Grin

That's really lovely. You should be very proud!

ScreamingValenta · 03/10/2019 20:12

Yay! Well done them!

Sewbean · 03/10/2019 20:13

I would be really happy to hear that about my teenager. You must be doing a good job.

I thought it was lovely on the part of the cafe owner too tbh, to make a point of telling them (probably good business too)

That's great! Especially since they saw a direct positive result of their good manners!
I'm mid 40s. My mum still calls after extended family events to praise me, although now it's my child's behaviour she is commenting on and not mine, Haha!

How wonderful! I spent DD's teenage years trying not to kill her or myself, so I'm overjoyed for you.
